    1. Hi Martin,
Currently Tuesday nights are alternating between a meditation practice evening and a series of talks based around what are known as the five spiritual faculties. The events are on a drop in and donation basis.
This may change from around the beginning of April but plans are as yet unfinalised.

    1. Hello Trevor. The Buddha was a human being. He was born in Northern India (now Nepal) around 2500 years ago. The name ‘Buddha’ is sometimes translated as ‘awakened one’ and refers to an enlightened human being. It is an important part of the faith that all human beings, without fail, have the potential to become enlightened.

  1. Yes, of course, you will be very welcome. There is an introduction to meditation course currently being run – 7:30-9:30pm Tuesdays.

    1. Hi Sophie – sorry for the delay in replying, webmaster has been away. The first class of 2017 will be tonight. There are currently no specific courses planned just drop in weekly Tuesday evening meetings open to all. From tonight there will be fortnightly meditation evenings, from next Tuesday fortnightly Buddhism based evenings using a book called ‘Not about being good’ by Subhadramati.
